Taking its name from the sheltering ceiba tree—the Mayan sacred “tree of life”—the Ceiba Foundation is at the root of our dedication to giving back.

As the benchmark for Nicaraguan development, Guacalito de la Isla and the Ceiba Foundation will step into the role of community leader on the Emerald Coast and take responsibility for fostering a stronger and healthier environment for all of its citizens. Programs may include establishing schools and adult education centers, building hospitals, libraries and creative centers, funding cultural and historical preservation efforts and providing support for the elderly and children.
